Uchenna Perez, B.S., manages SOAR’s administrative processes, including communicating with future patients interested in our services, developing relationships with current patients, and meeting their informational needs, as well as advocating for patients on their insurance benefits.

Uchenna, graduated from Texas Woman’s University in Denton with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, along with minors in Child Development and Multicultural Women’s & Gender Studies. In July 2024, she began her role as Administrative Assistant/Office Manager at SOAR.

Uchenna has a passion for mental health advocacy and bringing widespread awareness to the mental health field. Her goal is to uplift mental health spaces in reaching their target audiences and contribute to psychology research literature. Along with this role, Uchenna continues to volunteer as a research assistant within TWU’s Psychology Department, working collaboratively with her team in exploring community perspectives through a sociolinguistic lens.
In her free time, Uchenna enjoys playing games with friends and family and spending time with her cat.
